These are some of my old car projects. Many of these cars are projects that i have taken on and restored.
Here is a list of some of the cars that I have restored and currently enjoy.
1970 Mercedes Benz 300SEL 6.3 - Bought as a project car and currently undergoing a very slow restoration.
1972 Mercedes Benz 350SL - Another restoration project in the pipeline. This is a US spec car with the 4.5 liter V8 engine. Everyone needs a convertible.
1973 Mercedes Benz 280SEL 4.5 - Purchased in 2004, restored and then sold to a German car dealer who shipped it back to europe to a Client in Spain
1973 Mercedes Benz 280CE - I bought this car from a gentleman in Seattle. Before he bought it, it belonged to another friend of mine. This is a European Spec 280CE with the fuel injected 185hp M110 engine and a 4 speed manual gearbox. Quite a fireball. I have a soft spot for these cars as I still own a 1971 Mercedes Benz 250CE in England which I bought when I was 19.
1979 Mercedes Benz 450SLC 5.0 - This model is a homoligation special version of the 450SLC. Only 3000 of these cars were made for racing. Unlike the standard 450SLC. This car has light alloy racing panels and a light wieght alloy 5 liter engine with lots of power.
1979 Mercedes Benz 450SEL 6.9 - This car was an ebay purchase and was very rusty. Full photo documentation of the restoration can be seen by clicking on the link.
1979 Mercedes Benz 450SEL 6.9 - This is a Canadian spec 6.9. I bought it as a cheap car to use for parts or flip but it turned out to be too good so I kept it. See link for documentation of winter paint job
1980 Mercedes Benz 500SLC - This is another rare example of the 107026 series car. It is a modernized version of the 450SLC 5.0 with slightly modified engine and interior and a 4 speed automatic transmission (opposed to the 3 speed).
1981 Mercedes Benz 500SLC - A deal I could not pass up. This car was standing for about 7 years and a non runner. My goal is to slowly perform a Mechanical and cosmetic restoration.
1997 Mercedes Benz E420 - My daily driver, this car has a 32 valve V8 engine that can make 275 hp. It's very fast and very comfortable.
1973 MB MGB - I bought this car in 2006. It came as a shell and nine boxes and was slowly put back together. It's practically a new car now.
1973 GMC LWB Pickup truck - This is my workhorse. Originally came with a 455ci big block v8 but now has a 350ci engine with a turbo 350 transmission. Great for trips to the hardware store or for a junkyard run.
